Google deprecated their AdSense plugin for WordPress  early last year this led to developer opting for other ad injection plugins. There was no much reasons given by Google for the deprecation. Few months later, Google has announced a new integration which will not only bring back AdSense feature but also add the following to WordPress:

  • Google search console integration – Instead of users having to go to Google Search Console manually, webmasters can track each page of their site directly from this plugin.
  • Google analytics integration – Website owners can see users activity on their website with the Analytics option directly with the Site Kit plugin
  • PageSpeed Insights – PageSpeed Insight feature will give webmasters actional tips to improve a website’s performance for betting search engine ranking and user experience
  • Google AdSense  –
AdSense earnings can now be seen directly from the WordPress dashboard, all thanks to the Google Site Kit plugin.

This comes few days after WordPress 5.0 was released with a more focus on streamlining content publishing and management.
